What's Wrong with a Public Option?
Yes, I know it's dead for now. But the important thing to understand is what the "public option" really means. This brief animation does a great job in explaining the problem in less than a minute. Its simple and clear message inspires me to do something more with my little animation experiments.

If you work on an animation like this, please consider doing one that is very similar, only has "individual mandate" as its counter point. I am finding there is a substantial (and unfortunately influential) group that understands the danger of "public option" but can not see that "individual mandate" is the same thing, one step removed.
Okay. I gave it a day, but didn't come up with a story line yet. Once I get a little analogy I like, I'll give it a whirl.
Suggestions are welcomed.
