Light in the Dark

While we've been all but consumed by the gloomy darkness currently threatening America in the form of unprecedented government bailout of the governmentally-induced failure of economic institutions, Shez at Homeschool Twins managed to bring some light into our morning. I recommend stopping by her site and watching the almost always funny Jon Stewart clip on the subject.

If you visit, be sure to note the important James Madison quote showcased above Shez's picture. It is challenged by this very real domestic enemy proposing Tyranny and Oppression under the guise of saving us from ourselves.

thanks for linking to me. Been thinking about Madison's quote a lot lately.

Thank you for posting Jon Stewart and helping me to laugh during this mess.

I've done what I could in writing to my congressmen and now I guess we'll all have to ride out their horrific intervention in whatever form it takes.

I'm not an economist, so I have no light to shed of my own. I only know what is so very wrong about the situation and how the lack of applied principles help perpetuate that myth that the free market failed. (Even Jon Stewart gave lip service to the lack of "free market" to get us out of this mess).

I'm not sure what it will take for people to wake up and understand that it is the un-free market that will always fail. Free markets can't fail.
